You are in for a weekend of passion and intensity with the Spokane Symphony's Beethoven Piano Festival, featuring all five Beethoven concertos divided over two concerts. At the piano will be superstar Conrad Tao, substituting for the Silver-Garburg duo, who were originally slated to perform.

Snagging the hot young  Tao at short notice  is a coup  sure to delight festival audiences. Although Friday's concert was cancelled due to an injury to Garburg's hand, the Saturday and Sunday concerts will still include ALL FIVE concertos by the great German master himself - Beethoven. Seeing all five of Beethoven's Concertos is a must-see tour de force.

Of particular significance to his upcoming performance at the Symphony's Beethoven Piano Festival, is the fact that Tao will be appearing in Spokane fresh from performing all five Beethoven concertos with the Symphony of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Read a press review.

Conrad Tao's playing has been described by critics as "seductive...arresting...hair-raising in its technical brilliance." His accomplishments are impressive. They are even more so when you consider the Chinese-American pianist is just 18 years old and has been a guest artist with major orchestras around the globe since he was 15.

This Beethoven piano extravaganza is not to be missed in its entirety!

Additional concerts for the two-concert weekend may be purchased for $20.

Conrad Tao made Forbes' "30 Under 30: The Youngest Stars In The Music Business" list in 2011, alongside the likes of Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, and Adele. He is the only classical musician on the list.
